The Association of Japan Instrumentation Industry was established in 1974 and was corporation-ized as an organization of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport approval (the old Ministry of Construction) in 1980.
In order that the Association of Japan Instrumentation Industry may play the expectation and the role which were imposed, it strove for improvement in training of Bachelor of instrumentation and a status with advanced technology, holding of various study groups, the exchange with related many organizations, improvement in the investigation research in instrumentation, and technology, rationalization of management, etc., and aims contributing to society widely through healthy progress development of instrumentation construction business. The concrete enterprise outline by the above is as follows.

  • Investigation research on company rationalization of instrumentation construction business
  • Collection of the data about instrumentation construction business
  • The investigation research and the improvement about materials required  for instrumentation construction business, a machine, and a tool
  • Proof enterprise of Bachelor of Instrumentation technical examination
  • Enterprise for contributing to the improvement in the technology about instrumentation construction business, and improvement of capability

Bachelor of instrumentation technical examination system and eligibility requirements for an examination

Examination system

It was revised at the system based on “2 of the 17th article of construction industry method enforcement regulations” by “construction industry method enforcement regulations revising a part” of the second clause in No. 72 article of Land,Infrastructure and Transport ministerial regulation on April 1, 2001.

The summary of “2 of the 17th article of construction industry method enforcement regulations”

“Land,Infrastructure and Transport minister can authorize what should be encouraged when aiming at improvement in the technology of those who are engaged in construction work etc. with the enterprise which examines the technology or skill about the construction of a person’s construction work which is engaged in the construction work which a construction industry company constructs, and is made into the method of an end, and is proved, in order to be made help to reservation of a construction industry company’s construction technology.”

The Association of Japan Instrumentation Industry is authorized as “those who undertake technology and a skill examination enterprise” by this regulation, and is carrying out the name of enterprises, such as technology and skill examination, as ” Bachelor of instrumentation technical examination.”

Eligibility requirements

Restriction of school education etc. does not have eligibility requirement for an examination and they are only the business years of experience to instrumentation construction.
For details, please refer to an instrumentation Bachelor of instrumentation examination implementation rule. Moreover, a summary should look at the eligibility requirements for an examination by the new rule .
In addition, to the next person, it has been the rule which permits all or a part of examinations in the subjects of study.

  1. Those who passed the examination in the subjects of study is exempted from the examination in the subjects of study of the same grade of the following fiscal year, and the fiscal year after next.
  2. Qualification acquisition persons, such as electricity or pipe construction management technical official approval, have the exemption subject of an examination in the subjects of study. Specifically, please refer to the column of each above-mentioned eligibility requirements for an examination.

Title Grant

Bachelor of instrumentation technical examination considers as the grade of the 1st class and the 2nd class, and the title of the 1st class and 2nd class Bachelor of instrumentation is given to the 1st class and the 2nd class successful candidate, respectively.

Mentenance of Instrumentation technology

As for Bachelor of instrumentation, a duty of attendance of a technical maintenance short course will be imposed for every progress for five years for the improvement in maintenance of knowledge and technology. Those who refused the short course without the reason have registration erased.
